Why the name
The name outlived the protocol.
Galleon started as a DeFi protocol: a company, a team, roughly $1 million raised, and structured onchain products that held more than $20 million at their peak. The DAO wound down. The name did not, until 2026. The workshop is now Interceptor Studios.
Everything since has shared a temperament. Products with a point of view. Agents that carry real responsibilities. A game built because it should exist. And a stubborn streak of nautical naming that Andrew has never tried to grow out of.
The builder
Andrew Wilkinson
Andrew is a product engineer and founder. He works across payment infrastructure, autonomous agents, developer tools, and local discovery, and usually starts by building the thing he wanted to exist.
